A red painted body sub-frame was mounted directly to a chassis along with the top support frame, bumpers, brushguard, door hoops, and luggage rack to better display Wombat construction. The following set of photos illustrates the jig welded, independent subframe that is bonded into the Wombat body.

The main frame rails and dash spreader bar are 1.75 .093 wall tubing, the top support cage, door hoops, tire rack are 1.50 .093 and .120 wall tubing. The Front Bumper bracket is folded 3/8 plate, front and rear bumpers are 12 and 14 gauge steel. The subframe bolts to the factory chassis body mount points.
